A new era for event websites, communities, and engagement
Introducing
Smart Hub
The all-in-one platform for managing and promoting your events. Think of it as a mobile app for the web. A permanent home for your event where your audience can do everything they need, before, during, and after.
run.events Smart Hub puts your event website, community, content, and attendee engagement in one place. No more jumping between platforms. No more data that doesn’t talk to each other. Just one space that handles it all.
Here’s a quick exercise. Think about how many tools you’re currently using to run a single event. There’s likely a website somewhere, a registration platform, an email tool, something for your agenda, a webinar solution, maybe a community platform if you have one, and then a mix of analytics tools where you try to piece together what’s actually working.
Each one has its own login. Its own data silo. Its own way of doing things. And keeping all of them connected to each other is something that just quietly eats your time, every week, without anyone really noticing.
That’s the problem run.events Smart Hub was built to solve. One space where your event website, community, content, and engagement tools all live together and actually work as one thing.
What Smart Hub actually is
It’s a fully branded online space that runs under your domain. When your audience logs in, they find everything in one place: the agenda, registration, speakers, sponsors, articles, videos, a community feed, and an AI assistant that can answer their questions at any time of day.
On your end, your event data, your content, your community, and your marketing tracking all connect without you having to wire anything up manually. No copy-pasting the same information into three different systems. No widgets held together by hope.
You can use Smart Hub as your event’s primary website. You can use it as a year-round community hub that stays active between editions. For associations, it works as a membership management platform. For a lot of organizations, it’ll end up being all three at once.
A proper event website, without needing a developer
Before we get into features, there’s one thing worth calling out separately: Smart Hub runs on your own custom domain. Not a subdomain of some community platform. Not a URL that has someone else’s brand in it. Your domain, your identity, full stop. Most generic community builders lock you into their own URL structure, which means you’re essentially building your audience on someone else’s land. With Smart Hub, the space is yours.
And so is the data. Everything your attendees and community members do in Smart Hub, every profile, every registration, every interaction, stays in your run.events account and syncs fully with the run.events platform and mobile app. No data living in a third-party silo you don’t control. No exporting CSVs and hoping they match up. It’s all one connected system and it all belongs to you.
Link Smart Hub to your event in run.events and the event data flows in on its own. Agenda, speaker profiles, sponsor listings, registration form, all populated and kept current without you touching anything. Add a speaker in run.events and they show up in Smart Hub. Update a session description and it’s reflected straight away.
The pages connect to each other automatically too. Open a session and you see the speakers presenting it. Click a speaker and you get their full profile plus every session they’re part of. See a sponsor attached to a session, click through to their page with contact details, products, and resources. This entire structure builds and maintains itself, with no extra setup on your end.
For building out your pages, you have three options depending on what you need:
⚡ Event Integration Pages Ready-made pages for your agenda, speakers, sponsors, and registration. They pull live data from your event and stay current automatically.
🧩 Composite Pages A drag-and-drop canvas for homepages and landing pages. Mix text blocks, speaker carousels, sponsor grids, and registration links in any order.
✦ Custom Pages Full creative control through the run.events AI web builder. For beautifully designed standalone pages like venue info or a “Why Attend” section.
Attendees land somewhere that already knows them
When someone logs into your Smart Hub, their ticket is already visible in their profile header. No digging through email confirmations. No “where’s my ticket?” support requests to deal with. The full agenda is there for them to browse and build their personal schedule, which syncs directly with the run.events mobile app.
And when they have questions, an AI support assistant is available around the clock, drawing from your event FAQs, published articles, and video transcripts. It handles the repetitive stuff so your team doesn’t have to.
Worth knowing: Every post and comment in your community goes through AI moderation before it’s published, based on the community guidelines you define. You set the rules once, and the system handles enforcement from there.

Your community stays alive between events
Most platforms are built around a single moment. The event happens, people leave, and everything goes quiet. Smart Hub works differently, because your audience doesn’t disappear after the last session ends.
Between events, you can publish articles, host webinars, keep conversations going, and stay present with your community without sending them to a completely different platform. Members can post and comment. You can give contributor and moderator roles to team members or trusted community members who help manage the space. You decide what’s public and what needs a login to access.
For associations and membership organizations, the structure goes deeper. You can lock the entire Smart Hub to logged-in members only, giving you a private space with full control over who belongs, what role they hold, and what they can see and do.
Your analytics finally connect to your ticket sales
Smart Hub doesn’t lock your data inside its own ecosystem. Add Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, or any other tracking script through a single field in the settings, and it gets injected into every page automatically from that point on.
With UTM pass-through enabled, the campaign parameters that bring someone to your Smart Hub follow them all the way through to ticket purchase. You can finally close the loop between your ad spend and your registrations, without any custom development work involved. No more guessing which channel actually drove results.
Next year, you start from where you left off
When the next edition of your event comes around, you don’t rebuild everything from zero. You update the linked event to the new year, and everything carries over: community members, content, configuration, branding. The community grows alongside your event, year after year, without the reset cost every time.
