Experts Live Netherlands is the largest independent Microsoft community event in the BeNeLux. Organised entirely by and for the community, it brings together developers, cloud architects, security professionals, and Microsoft MVPs every year for a programme built entirely around depth — no marketing fluff, just real technical sessions led by real practitioners.
The 2026 edition spanned two days at the NBC Congrescentrum in Nieuwegein: a focused Masterclass day on June 1, followed by the main conference on June 2 with over 100 deep-dive sessions and 125+ speakers. run.events powered the full event — from a calls for speakers workflow and online registration and ticketing, to a brand new Sponsorship Dashboard giving each sponsor their own hub for managing assets, scheduling meetings with attendees, and running booth events. Attendees navigated the programme through a white-labelled mobile app — including a Partners tab for discovering sponsors and booking meetings — and digital agenda kiosks placed throughout the venue. On-site, QR check-in with on-demand badge printing cleared the entrance in seconds.
With 2026 marking the third consecutive year of the partnership, the onboarding overhead was zero. The ELNL team and run.events spoke the same language from day one of planning — which meant more time spent on the experience, and none spent on setup.
